The Founder of WD Sportz, Williams, is a lifelong sports enthusiast. Having played at various levels and continuing to do so, it was clear to him that something was missing, or just simply not offered to lower league teams in terms of showcasing what happens at this level.
Without even realising, you’d be amazed at the quality of some of the goals, tackles, moves, teamwork and even the grounds of non-league. We film games for teams and leagues weekly to show everyone what’s on offer. We’ve also been building our social media channels to reach more and more people every time we post. Grassroots sports is truly wonderful.
Empowering the Grassroots Players
WD Sportz was founded on the principle of empowerment. Our mission is to provide a voice and platform for non-league athletes, coaches, and communities. We believe that every athlete, regardless of their level, deserves to have their achievements recognised and celebrated.
To achieve this, WD Sportz began by offering its filming services to local sports teams and events. We would capture the intensity, excitement, and passion of the games, allowing non-league athletes to relive their moments of triumph and share them with friends and family. In doing so, they were able to elevate the significance of these games in the eyes of the participants.
