SE Dons go prime, and UTR victorious convincingly Baiteze Squad lose on penalties in London Cup

Under The Radar win again

SE Dons in the driving seat

A brilliant season continues to grow in strength for Under The Radar FC. They are yet to lose a game this season after another win, this time a 4-0 win over Orpington Rovers. That win puts UTR in the driving seat with six wins from six in the Woolwich and Eltham Premier Division.

Since taking one point from a possible six against Hatcham, SE Dons have won five out of five. The Dons beat Lullingstone 5-1 with five different goal scorers including Jordan Green who is a man in form and Zak Ansah who is the Dons top scorer this season.

SE Dons now sit top of the Orpington & Bromley Senior Division, one point clear of second place LAS with two games in hand. The Dons will now play in the London Challenge Cup next weekend against Panathanaikos.

Baiteze Squad knocked out London Cup

On the topic of the London Challenge Cup, Baiteze Squad crashed out the competition this past weekend. Baiteze drew 1-1 after 120 minutes against a strong Kenningwell United side, the game went to penalties where Baiteze lost 5-4 in a heart-breaking encounter. Baiteze look to bounce back as they continue in the League Cup next weekend against Flanders in Group A.

Lambeth Allstars struggle continues

Disappointment for Lambeth Allstars as they drop more points after such a strong start to the season. LAS were six unbeaten in the league until back to back losses to SE Dons offset them completely. Since those losses to the Dons, LAS have only taken three points from nine with their most recent game ending in a 1-0 defeat to Roca Seniors.

Rising Ballers lose ground in title race

Rising Ballers now sit six points off top spot in the league after a loss to Takers FC. Takers are no easy opposition and have won six from six in the league. Takers could go top if they win their games in hand on league leaders Highgate Albion despite being seven points behind.

Rising Ballers lost the game 1-0 in what could be a costly defeat in the long term. Although they still have plenty of football left to play, there is a big task ahead for them to be crowned champions.
