In each division, the club with the best average points per game is declared the winner.
Clubs must have played a minimum of three games during the month in either a league, League Cup, FA Cup or FA Trophy match to be considered.
Should more than one club have the same best average points per game, then the winner shall be declared as the club with the best goal difference (in league matches) and if that is equal the club scoring the most goals.
PST Sport are the sponsors of the Southern Football League’s club of the month awards for the four divisions.
Each winner receives an engraved glass memento along with a voucher for use with the company.
PST Sport design and build state-of-the-art artificial grass pitches, from full-size pitches to training areas, that stand up to the challenges of all sporting codes.

And for the second successive month, it’s Jimmy Ginnelly’s Nuneaton Borough who have won the Premier Division Central award.
Boro moved joint top of the table alongside Tamworth in midweek after beating Bedford Town and have averaged three points per game in September – and all that after losing the first game of the season at Leiston!
Like Nuneaton, Merthyr Town struggled last season and only avoided relegation due to receiving a reprieve due to Walton Casuals sad demise.
However, under Paul Michael, the Martyrs are enjoying a much better time of it in the Premier Division South.
And although they are 13th in the table, the month has seen wins over Salisbury and Winchester City in the league as well as Emirates FA Cup progress.
They won their first monthly award on goal difference from second-placed Weston-super-Mare with an average of 2.6 points-per-game.
The winners for Division One Central are Robbie O’Keefe’s Biggleswade Town.
The Waders got off to a poor start to the season but have gradually improved and have had a wonderful run in the FA Cup, culminating in Tuesday’s terrific win against Isthmian League Premier Division side Billericay Town to put them into the Fourth Qualifying Round.
Biggleswade won the award on goal difference from Berkhamsted with an average of 2.25 points-per-game.
Like Biggleswade, Melksham Town had an indifferent start to the 2022/23 campaign.
But a decent run of form in September has seen them shoot up the table to third and win a couple of FA Trophy ties.
Richard Fey’s side won the award with an average of 2.50 points-per-game.
