Liverpool travel to Wolves in the Premier League on Monday evening, as the game draws nearer Callum Owen previews the game.
Team news
For Wolves, both Daniel Podence and Marcal remain out of contention due to groin issues. Additionally, Raul Jimenez remains side-lined due to a fractured skull from which he continues to recover.
Liverpool continue to sweat over the fitness of striker Roberto Firmino, who has missed Liverpool’s last two games due to a knee issue.
Form
Wolves come into the game sitting 13th in the Premier League, winless in their last three outings. Last time out Wolves drew 0-0 with local rivals Aston Villa and will be looking for their first win since February 19th, a 1-0 win over Leeds.

What to expect
Both sides come into the fixture in the midst of poor form, and in general, poor seasons.
For Liverpool the pre-match talk, as usual at the moment, revolves around the centre-back pairing that will start on Monday.
It is likely that Jurgen Klopp will continue with Nat Philips and Ozan Kabak at the heart of Liverpool’s defence. Thus, allowing Fabinho to feature in his preferred midfield position.
For Wolves, it is crucial that they re-find their goal scoring form, something that has hindered them since the loss of Raul Jimenez, three months ago.
Prediction
A tight game is expected, between two sides who have struggled for form and goals as of late.
If Liverpool’s front three can find form, it is expected they will be too strong for Wolves.
Prediction: Wolves 0-1 Liverpool
