Week 15 Essex Alliance League round-up and match previews

Senior Division:

Chadwell Heath Spartans 1 – 1 Dagenham United

Frenford Development 5 – 0 Blue Marlin

Kit Out London 2 – 2 FC Baresi

Oakside 1 – 2 Jolof Sports

Walthamstow Reserves 2 – 3 Brimsdown

Woodford East 4 – 2 Rapid Chingford

 League leaders FC Baresi were held to a draw away at Kit Out London. This result means FC Baresi stay top while Kit Out London move up to 12th. 2nd place Brimsdown pick up the in a tightly contested game away at 11th place Walthamstow Reserves. Jolof Sports picked up a victory away at 14th place Oakside which moved them up to 3rd in the league. Blue Marlin continued their winless start to the season as they fell to a dominant defeat away at Frenford Development. Blue Marlin stay bottom in 17th with Frenford Development moving up to 9th. Woodford East were dominant at home against Rapid Chingford to secure the victory. Woodford East move up to 5th in the league whole Rapid Chingford sit in 15th. Chadwell Heath Spartans and Dagenham United played out the only draw in the division as the hosts sit in 8th while the away side are in 13th.

 

Premier Division East:

Freetown 0 – 17 Underscore United

RCXI 3 – 0 Barkingside Under 23s

Wapping 4 – 3 London Park City

 Underscore United secured a landslide victory away at winless Freetown. This result moved the hosts up to 2nd in the league while Freetown are bottom in 11th. League leader RCXI scored 3 goals to get the 3 points needed to stay top of the league. Barkingside Under 23s stay in 8th. Wapping secured a narrow victory at home to London Park City. The result moved Wapping up to 9th in the league while London Park City stay in 7th.

 

Premier Division West:

G7 1 – 4 Priory Park Rangers

Leyton City 3 – 3 AEK London

Wanstead 1 – 4 Soul

 League leaders AEK London were held to a draw against winless Leyton City. Leyton City stay in 9th with AEK London staying at the top. Second place Priory Park Rangers moved within 3 points of the league leaders with their win over G7 who stay 8th. Soul was dominant away at Wanstead. The result means the away side move above the hosts into 6th with Wanstead in 7th.

 

Division One:

Forest Green 1 – 3 Old Esthameians

Kwanzas London Sport 2 – 2 Eagles Football

Newham Wanderers 2 – 1 Atholl

Redbridge Community 2 – 0 Unitey

 League leaders Newham Wanderers secured a victory at home to 10th placed Atholl to keep them top of the league. 2nd place Redbridge Community secured a comfortable victory at home to 3rd place Unitey to keep them in 2nd.  4th place Old Esthameians won away from home at Forest Green to moved them up to 4th with Forest Green in 9th. Bottom place Kwanzas London Sport continued their winless run with a draw at home to 7th Eagles Football.

 

Division Two:

Lymore Gardens Reserves 1 – 2 Rainham Phoenix

Snaresbrook 2 – 0 Royal Forest

Second place Rainham Phoenix secured a narrow victory away at Lymore Gardens Reserves with the hosts staying in 9th. Snaresbrook continued their perfect start to the season with their 8th win in 8 games against 3rd place Royal Forest.

 

Division Three:

Chingford Harriers 3 – 0 Football Club of Riverside

Flyers Under 21s 3 – 0 Romford Under 21s

Frenford A 5 – 2 Buckhurst Way

Glendale 3 – 6 Jolof Sports Reserves

Newbury East 5 – 1 Dagenham United Reserves

The league leaders Newbury East were dominant in their victory against Dagenham United Reserves who sit in 7th. Jolof Sports Reserves came out on top in a high scoring tie against Glendale. The away side sit in 2nd with the hosts in 11th. Frenford A were dominant in their victory against Buckhurst Way with the hosts moving up to 4th and the away side in 8th. Flyers Under 21s scored 3 goals to secure the 3 points against Romford Under 21s with the hosts in 5th and the away side in 9th. Chingford Harriers sit in 3rd after their victory against 10th place Football Club of Riverside.

 

Division Four:

Collier Row Wheels 3 – 3 Old Esthameians Reserves

Emerson & Upminster Reserves 3 – 6 Flyers Under 23s

Inter London 3 – 3 Romford Under 19s

London APSA Under 23s 5 – 4 Avondale Rangers

Newham & Havering Borough 0 – 1 West Essex Under 23s

 Romford Under 19s secured a point away at Inter London. The point moved the away side to top of the table with the hosts sitting in 5th. Newham & Havering Borough remain winless after losing at home to West Essex Under 23s. The hosts sit bottom in 11th with the away side sitting in 7th. London APSA Under 23s secured a narrow victory at home to Avondale Rangers. The hosts sit 3rd in the league with the away side in 6th. Flyers Under 23s secured a dominant victory away at Emerson & Upminster Reserves. The away side sit in 8th while the hosts sit in 10th. Collier Row Wheels drew in a high scoring match at home to Old Esthameians Reserves. The hosts sit in 4th with the away side sitting in 9th.
