Two New Larks – The Southern League

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Larkhall Athletic, looking for a first win in 2022/23, have brought in two new players.

Dawid Regula joins the Larks from Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Roman Glass St George, who he returned to in the summer.

The 25-year-old re-joined Roman Glass from the Larks` former league rivals Mangotsfield United.

He had joined the Mangos in March 2022 from Roman Glass.

He originally signed for Roman Glass earlier in the 2021/22 season from Toolstation Western League Premier Division outfit Shepton Mallett.

He had moved to Mallett in the summer of 2021 from Bristol Manor Farm, where he had been since January 2021 after arriving from Western League Premier Division side Welton Rovers.

The powerful striker joined Rovers in July 2020. He netted 17 goals in 23 appearances in 2019/20 whilst playing for Henbury in the Gloucester County League and Bristol Telephones in the Western League Division One.

He had earlier played for Shortwood United.

Also moving to Plain Ham is 21-year-old midfielder Harrison Lea.

Another to have been on Mangotsfield’s books earlier in his career, he also had spells with Vanarama National League South side Chippenham Town, for whom he made a handful of first team appearances, as well as the Larks` league rivals Cinderford Town.
