In the final weekend of domestic football, there is still plenty to play for across the globe. In France and Spain, both promotion and relegation are yet to be decided, whilst in England, the top-four is yet to be decided. Join us as we go through all the most important bits ahead of this weekend’s games.
The Must-Watch Football Games From This Weekend:
La Liga Title Race – Saturday, 17:00PM – Premier Sports 1HD/Premier Sports 2HD:
On Premier Sports 1HD you will find Real Madrid hosting seventh placed Villareal. With Zidane reportedly leaving at the end of the season, nothing less than victory and Atletico losing will see Real tasting La Liga glory again.
On the other hand, Atletico are two points clear at the top however, despite their superior goal difference, a draw will not see them lifting the title due to La Liga going off head-to-head records to decide places instead.
Luckily however, Atletico will be travelling away to nineteenth placed Real Valladolid who are without a victory in their last eleven games. Despite this, Valladolid will need to win to have any chance of playing La Liga football again next year. You can find this game on Premier Sports 2HD at the same time as the Real/Villareal game.
Liverpool v Crystal Palace – Sunday, 16:00PM – Sky Sports Main Event:
Well, what a way to end the season this could be for Jurgen Klopp’s men. After a year full of injuries, mediocrity and very little in the way of celebrations on Merseyside, they could now finish the season securing Champions League football.
Currently sitting in fourth but, only on goal difference, nothing is guaranteed just yet for Liverpool. Though victory possibly may not be needed, it would be the perfect way to round off a strong end to the season.
Without a loss in the league since the first week of March, Liverpool have been playing some remarkable football of late. With top-four now within sight, who better to play than the team who they’ve scored eleven against conceding zero in their previous two meetings.
It’ll be an emotional day for Palace fans as well, with manager Roy Hodgson taking charge of his final game for his boyhood club.

Football Worth Following – MAN v FAT:
MAN v FAT was an organisation launched in 2014 when founder Andrew Shanahan wanted to make an effort to lose weight. After joining the local slimming centre, he found the efforts of the group were largely aimed at women and so, he naturally felt out of place. In the years following MAN v FAT was launched as an effort to battle obesity in men.
In 2016 MAN v FAT took their next big step launching MAN V FAT Football. These are a series of leagues exclusively for overweight men, who want to lose weight. For a project launched just five years ago, MAN V FAT now has over 90 football leagues across the U.K. The project has also expanded to Australia where it is known as MAN V FAT Soccer.
In the league structure, players are not only rewarded for goals, wins etc, but also for losing weight. They also became the very first weight loss scheme to be officially endorsed by the English F.A.
With those 90 leagues in full-force, this could be a great opportunity to get involved in. Click on the picture below for even more info.
