First, open the app and tap the ‘Availability’ icon. Here, you can select a fixture to see a list of every player and their status: Available, Not Sure, Unavailable, or Not Set.

Using the Club Control Panel (Desktop)

For more detailed planning, the desktop version is ideal. To begin, log in and navigate to the Teams tab, then click on Availability. Consequently, you will see a grid displaying the next four fixtures at a glance.

For the system to work, players and parents must update their availability promptly. Pitchero makes this incredibly easy, especially with the dedicated Club app, which ensures your coach is always kept in the loop.

Using the Pitchero Club App

The fastest way to keep your coach informed.

  • 1Open the app and tap the ‘Schedule’ icon.
  • 2Find the match and tap ‘Set availability’.
  • 3Choose AvailableUnavailable, or Maybe.

Updating from the Website

If you don’t have the app, you can still update your status on the Pitchero website. First, log in to your account. Then, click your name in the top right corner and choose ‘Availability’ from the menu. Parents managing a child’s account should select their child’s name first.

Top Tips for a Hassle-Free Season

Set Fixtures Early

Admins should add fixtures and training sessions early. Players can only set availability for events in the system.

Encourage the ‘Maybe’

If a player is unsure, “Maybe” is much better than “Not Set”. It shows the coach you’ve seen the request.

Sync Your Calendar

Export your schedule directly to your phone.

Set Clear Deadlines

Set a weekly deadline (e.g., Wednesday). Use the ‘Prompt’ feature to send reminders 24 hours before.
