Horsham v Whitehawk: U18s MATCH PREVIEW

[ad_1]

Fresh from the ‘excitement’ of the FA Youth Cup, Horsham’s Isthmian Youth League squad welcome Del Tobias’ Whitehawk to the Camping World Community Stadium on Tuesday for their first home league game of the season and will be hoping to build on the good start that saw them secure three points at Burgess Hill Town in late August.

Last season’s meetings saw the teams draw 3-3 at the Enclosed Ground in September, a game in which the Hornets twice came from a goal down, saw an Archard penalty saved and Matthews’ follow up crash down from the underside of the crossbar, and that was followed by a narrow home win for the Hornets in December with Moteane’s early solitary strike settling the contest.

Like Horsham, Whitehawk started this season’s league campaign with an away win, as two goals each from Sam N’cho and Jack Duckett saw the Hawks to an impressive 4-1 victory over Bognor Regis Town. But it was a different story in the FA Youth Cup where they went down 3-0 at Lewes in the Preliminary Round.

Kick-off tomorrow night is 7.45pm with spectators asked to park at the nearby park and ride car park and make the short walk back up to the club.

Entrance prices are £4 Adults, £2 Concessions and £1 for U16s while U5s are free.

As ever, if you can’t make the game be sure to follow @HorshamFCU18s on Twitter for live match updates from 7.30pm.
