Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Welwyn Garden City’s activity in the recruitment market continues to increase as manager Max Mitchell re-builds his playing squad.
The latest recruit is attacking midfielder Carlos Flood.
The 20-year-old moves to Herns Lane having been with Isthmian League Premier Division side Brightlingsea Regent last season, having spent the previous 18 months with Isthmian North outfit Hashtag United, for whom he was a goalscoring regular.
A former product of Barnet’s academy, East London-based Flood also had trials with Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic before dropping into non-League football.
