Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club AFC Dunstable have made a couple of additions to their squad.
Joining younger brother John at Creasey Park is striker Michael Shamalo.
The 23-year-old Swedish attacker is a product of Luton Town’s academy where he helped them reach the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup in 2016/17 and the semi-final of the youth alliance cup in 17-18.
He was rewarded by making the first team bench for their Checkatrade Trophy game against Tottenham Hotspur under-23s.
After his release in 2018 moved on and signed for Kettering Town in a move that didn’t quite work out.
He relocated to Loughborough due to starting university and joined Coalville Town.
He later turned out for then-United Counties League Premier Division side Harborough Town.
Meanwhile, Luke Beckwith has joined the OD’s on dual registration with Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Leverstock Green.
He joined Green in the summer from Bovingdon where he scored 21 goals in 28 appearances last season.
He had been with the OD’s as a youth and also spent time with Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.
