Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Bedford Town Michael Harriman.
The 29-year-old right-back joins the Eagles from League Two side Northampton Town.
Harriman joined the Cobblers as a free agent in September 2019 and played 75 times across the following three seasons.
He will be best remembered for producing two brilliant performances in the play-offs in 2020.
He played a key role in helping the Cobblers overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit to beat Cheltenham Town 3-2 in the semi-finals before starring at Wembley in the final.
Harriman has a wealth of League experience, having played over 260 games in the last 10 years.
His career includes spells at Queens Park Rangers, Luton Town and Gillingham and also made over 100 appearances in four years with Wycombe Wanderers.
He also won international recognition for the Republic of Ireland, winning caps at under-18, 19 and under-21 level.
Bedford manager Gary Setchell told his club’s website: “Michael is a great signing for the club. He has an amazing amount of experience in the Football League, which will help the squad immensely. We’re all looking forward to seeing what he brings to the side.”
Harriman made his Eagles debut in Saturday’s disappointing home defeat to league rivals Alvechurch in the Isuzu FA Trophy.
