Under The Radar FC
A good week for all those major YouTube Sunday league sides. Starting with Under The Radar FC who moved top of the league on goal difference. A 5-1 win over Jam FC secured UTR’s fifth win from five in this seasons campaign.
UTR are level on points with second place Baldon Sports however they have played two games fewer. Given the games in hand and the unbeaten record, UTR will surely be a strong favourite for the title this year.
SE DONS
SE Dons off the back of two impressive wins over LAS FC, faced yet another tricky opponent in Portland. The Dons however were up for the battle with a third successive win and clean sheet. SE Dons won the game 2-0 with new signing and ex-Barnsley player Jordan Green scoring his second goal in a week.
The win see’s the dons move into second place, two points behind LAS with two games in hand on the league leaders. Next Sunday, the dons will play Lullingstone knowing full well a win could see them move to top of the league if results go their way.
PALMERS FC
It has been a mixed season so far for Palmers but with last weekend’s win they remain hopeful of finishing top of the table. Palmers are now two points off the top side Campion Old Boy’s with a game in hand and the two are yet to meet this season.
Palmers have taken six points from six since the restart of Sunday League football but will return to cup competition next week against DC-10 firsts. The two sides met earlier in the season in a six goal thriller where both sides left with a point in an entertaining 3-3 draw.
3 defeats in 3 for LAS
Lambeth Allstars who were unbeaten in the league before back to back losses to SE Dons continued a miserable week with a third successive defeat. LAS fell to a 1-0 home loss to mid-table side Kenningwell United.
Next up for the Lambeth Allstars is a game with Roca Seniors, another strong side who will be looking to take advantage of LAS’ recent poor form.
Baiteze Squad
Another game and another win for a YouTube side. Baiteze Squad took on the London Mavericks in the League Cup and won the game 3-1. That win means Baiteze have maximum points in this season’s League Cup but still have work to do in order to progress.
Next up for Baiteze is a tricky tie with Kenningwell United in the London Challenge Cup. Baiteze are having a very strong season so far and are certainly favourites to progress to the next round.
