Last Weekend’s round-up:
Rapid Chingford came out victorious in a thriller against Crookz United. This win saw them go above Crookz United into 15th place in the table with the away side slipping down to 16th . Walthamstow Reserves were the winners in the only other fixture of the weekend in the Senior Division as they moved up to 10th place with Blue Marlin staying at the bottom of the table in 17th . Blue Marlin are still yet to find their first win of the campaign.
Highflyers RCXI failed to capitalise on a chance to take top spot as they lost away
from home at Waltham Abbey A who climbed to 5 th in the league. Wapping remain winless for this season as they were on the end of a clinical Aveley Under 23s side who remain 10 th and 6 th in the league respectively. Underscore United came out victorious in a top of the table clash against Fairlop Rovers as Underscore United move up to 3 rd and remain unbeaten for the campaign; Fairlop Rovers fall to 4th. London Park City secured a comfortable victory over winless Freetown who remain bottom of the league in 11 th with London Park City moving up into 7th place.
League leaders AEK London stay top after a victory away at 3 rd place Priory Park Rangers. 2nd place London Cranes secured a narrow victory against 4th place North East Lions. CSM London stay in 5th after their win at home to Leyton City who remain winless and 9th in the league. Athletic Newham Under 23s also continued their winless streak as they fell to defeat against Soul who gained their first win of the season. Soul sit in 8 th while Athletic Newham Under 23s remain 10th . G7 secured a victory in the highest scoring game in the division against Wanstead. G7 closed the gap to Wanstead in the league but its Wanstead who stay in 6th, with G7 one point behind in 7th.
Something From Nothing gained an impressive victory against 4th place Ilford
Reserves. The win puts Something From Nothing level on points with Ilford
Reserves, with them moving up to 5th in the league. Atholl managed their first victory of the season away at Old Esthameians. Atholl stay in 10th with Old Esthameians falling to 7th . The deadlock couldn’t be broken as Forest Green and Eagles Football managed a point each in a goalless draw. Forest Green remain in 9th with Eagles Football dropping to 6th.
Redbridge Community Reserves secured a massive victory away at St Francis as
they managed 11 goals. This win moved them to 8 th in the league with St Francis
staying in 10th . FC Baresi Under 23s got a narrow victory away at Lymore GardensReserves. The hosts fell to 9th in the league with the away side moving up to 4th. Old Barkabbeyans won at home to Woodford East Reserves. This victory moved them up to 5 th in the league and above the away side who fell to 6th . Chadwell Heath Spartans Reserves secured victory against winless Barking Potters who remain bottom in 11th . The home side sit in 7th place in the league.
Top of the table Newbury East were defeated by 2nd place Jolof Sports Reserves in the top of the table clash. Both sides remain 1st and 2nd respectively but the gap was closed to just four points. 3 rd place Chingford Harriers secured a narrow victory away at 5th place Flyers Under 21s. Football Club of Riverside managed to get their first win of the season at home to Glendale. The hosts moved up to 10th above Glendale who slip to the bottom in 11th . Dagenham United Reserves saw a defeat at home at the hands of Romford Under 21s. The away side stay 9th despite their win with the hosts slipping down to 7th place. Melbourne Sports secured a comfortable victory at home against Buckhurst Way. The win saw Melbourne Sports move up to 6th in the league with Buckhurst Way in 8th place.
Top of the table Fairlop Rovers Reserves managed 12 goals away from home
against 10th place Old Esthameians Reserves to secure the victory. 2nd place
Romford Under 19s managed an 8 – 2 victory over 7th placed West Essex Under
23s. 5th place Avondale Rangers secured the victory in a thrilling game at Flyers
Under 23s that saw 14 goals scored in total. The away side move to 5th in the league with the home side slipping down to 7 th . Inter London moved up to 6th in the league with a narrow away win at Collier Row Wheels who fall to 4th in the league.
