Week 13 Essex Alliance League round-up and match previews

Results – *Fixtures Played Saturday 5th November

With many teams in cup action during bonfire weekend, only a few were left to play in the league. One of the games saw Brimsdown take a narrow victory over Jolof Sports with Wint being the only goal scorer of the game. This win saw Brimsdown go above Jolof Sports in the league table and take second place behind FC Baresi. The second game of the weekend saw Woodford East comfortably win against Kit Out London. Woodford East saw four different goal scorers with Kit Out London managing just a consolation. The results didn’t change much in the table for Kit Out London who stayed in 10th and Woodford East climbed up to 5th with the impressive victory.

 

There was a top-of-the-table clash between RCXI and Chingford Athletic which saw the away side take home all three points in a tightly contested fixture. Gardiner got the all-important winning goal which saw his side take the top spot from RCXI. Underscore United continued their perfect start to the season with their 4th consecutive win against a struggling Wapping side who are yet to win so far this season. The away side put six past Wapping with Paterson scoring a brace. This result helped move Underscore United up to 4th in the league with Wapping still in 10th. Finally, Barkingside Under 23s claimed their first victory of the season against Freetown who are yet to gain a point with six straight losses. Rowe and Fagbohun scored the goals for the away side as they move up to 7th in the league with Freetown still sitting bottom in 11th.

 

This week’s fixtures saw a fantastic 5 – 5 draw between Leyton City and Soul. Luke of Leyton City and Aidoo of Soul both scored hat-tricks. Both teams remain winless this season with Soul in 8th and Leyton City in 9th. The other game in this division saw Priory Park Rangers secure all three points by putting three goals past London Cranes who only managed a consolation goal. Ndlovu managed a brace to help his team become victorious as this top-of-the-table clash saw Priory Park Rangers take 2nd from London Cranes who now sit in 3rd.

 

Newham Wanderers continued their dominant start to the season against strugglers Kwanzas London Sport as they scored seven with Morais getting four goals for the hosts. Bravo da Rosa was the lone goal scorer for Kwanzas London Sport as they continue their winless start to the season. Newham Wanderers extended their time at the top spot in the league with Kwanzas London Sport remaining bottom in 11th. Highflyers Redbridge Community continued their impressive start to the season as a Balliu brace saw them victorious over winless Renegade. Redbridge Community pulls clear in 2nd in the league with Renegade picking up their 5th loss of the season in 9th. Eagles Football managed an impressive victory at home to Unitey who picked up their first loss of the season in a narrow tie. Costache managed the only goal of the game to give Eagles Football the victory. The hosts moved up to 5th in the league with Unitey staying in 3rd.

 

There were a lot of goals in this past weekend’s fixtures with Royal Forest putting
nine goals past Redbridge Community Reserves who managed just one goal. Both Hick and Kweya managed a hat trick for the away side. This victory moved Royal Forest up to 2nd in the table with the hosts staying second bottom in 10th. Lymore Gardens Reserves managed an impressive victory against St Francis as the goals were shared with four different goal scorers. This win means the hosts pull ahead in 8th with the away side staying in 9th.

 

Chingford Harriers and Dagenham United Reserves shared the points as they drew 2 – 2. Flander managed a brace for the away side with Kabo and Shawyer getting the goals for the home side. The point for Chingford Harriers moved them up to 3rd with the point moving Dagenham United Reserves into 6th. In the other fixture, Frenford A managed a dominant victory over Football Club of Riverside with James scoring a brace to help his side to secure all three points. The win for the hosts moved them up to 4th in the league creating a three-point cushion to Dagenham United Reserves who remain in 6th.

 

The only game of the weekend in Division Four saw Fairlop Rovers Reserves
victorious as they put six goals past West Essex Under 23s. The hosts moved up to the top spot in the Division with this dominant display with the away side staying in 7th.
