The Hornets will begin their defence of the Velocity Trophy against a side containing three players who helped bring the silverware back to the CWCS last season for the very first time, and our County League winning captain.
There was an inevitability that we should draw Whitehawk in one of the knockout competitions, following the summer departures of Charlie Harris, Rob O’Toole, Will Miles and, from Saltdean United, Joe Shelley to the Enclosed Ground and there is sure to be a big crowd to welcome our former favourites back to the club, albeit for one night only.
The tie must be played by November 11th (date to be confirmed)
