THE BELGIAN BREWER
Bishop’s Stortford Football Club are incredibly proud to announce that our nearby neighbours at The Belgian Brewer have sponsored The Blues ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The Belgian Brewer was founded in 2019 by Nik Lemmens, a Belgian with a passion for all things beer, who noticed a lack of the traditional Belgian style beers he loved in the UK. He took matters into his own hands, and has since seen his Bishop’s Stortford brewery awarded 3 World Beer Awards and 5 European Beer Challenge Awards, with his Raspberry Beer being named Best Fruit Beer in the UK.
“We opened our brewery in the Links Business Centre in Bishop’s Stortford, with the taproom opening 10-months later. With the support of our customers in the town we made it through the pandemic and are stronger than ever! We regularly have football fans coming in before or after the games at The R&D Advisors UK Stadium for a few beers and a good chat, so we wanted to share the love and support our local club!” – Nik Lemmens, The Belgian Brewer
