Basingstoke Town have agreed a loan deal for Fulham midfielder Imani Lanquedoc until January 2023.
Basingstoke announced a new Academy partnership with Fulham last week and Lanquedoc is the first player to experience the established link between the two sides.
18 year old Lanquedoc is equally comfortable in the middle of midfield as he is in wider areas. Having recently signed first year pro forms for Fulham, Imani most recently featured in the ‘The Whites’ U21 side.
Manager Dan Brownlie added “Whilst the partnership with Fulham is varied in its agreement, the opportunity to offer senior football to their younger players is great for both parties. It’s no secret that we’ve picked up a few injuries in central areas, so we felt it was important to ensure that we were covered but he is also capable across the front line and that flexibility is always helpful. We’re really looking forward to working with Imani and we’re excited to be part of his football journey.”
