Rashford a doubt for England

England attacker Marcus Rashford is a doubt for Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against San Marino.

The Manchester United star is set to miss out through a foot injury.

The injury was sustained in Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over AC Milan in the Europa League.

Rashford missed Manchester United’s 3-1 FA Cup defeat against Leicester, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealing Rashford “Wasn’t close” to featuring.

It is therefore bizarre as to why Rashford travelled to St. George’s park, instead of continuing his rehabilitation with Manchester United.

Further team news

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka joins Rashford in missing out, as he continues to rehabilitate with Arsenal.

The 19-year old suffered a hamstring injury in the North London Derby against Tottenham.

Editor’s picks:

He would go on to play 74 minutes of Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with fellow London side, West Ham.

It was hoped Saka would return to contention for Thursdays fixture, but this will not be the case.
