Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Hednesford Town have announced the signing of Olamide Ibrahim on loan from League One side Derby County.
The 18-year-old began his career with Manchester City’s youth academy before moving to their rivals Manchester United prior to his arrival at Pride Park.
Holding dual Irish and Nigerian nationality, he came off the bench for his Derby debut in the Emirates FA Cup away at Chorley in 2021.
The midfielder has spent two years with Derby’s under-18s and under-23s, making a total of 52 appearances and is an exciting prospect for the Rams.
Meanwhile, leaving the Pitmen is midfielder Romehl Seraton, who has departed to join up with his former management team at Midland League Premier Division side Worcester City.
Earlier this season, the youngster spent a month with Midland League Division One side Dudley Town, and he has also had trials with Championship side Sheffield United.
Hednesford have confirmed that midfielder Samir Nabi has joined Northern Premier League Division One Midlands outfit Sutton Coldfield Town on a dual registration in order to get game time to assist with his match fitness.
