Yesterday, he thanked his players for an early birthday present, however, he will be focused on Wednesday’s scheduled match against Aston Villa, who have not played in the Premier League since January 1 due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

Thank you for the players, it was a nice present. It’s good,” Pep Guardiola said of being second in the standings.

“We fought a lot to be up there like many clubs and we will have to fight a lot to still be there. It is a weird season, everyone can beat everyone, it is difficult every game but I am happy for the players for another good performance and for the three points.”

A lot of people have taken to their Twitter handle this morning to wish him a happy birthday.

City Square life also sent him a birthday shout out.

We wish Pep Guardiola an amazing new year.
