As the final game of the footballing season is rapidly approaching, we take a look at the biggest football news, videos and much more…

The Must-Watch Football Games From This Weekend:

Manchester United vs Liverpool – Sunday, 16:30PM, Sky Sports Main Event:

English football’s greatest ever rivalry comes to head once again this Sunday. Manchester United vs Liverpool, The North-West Derby.

It may no longer be a clash between England’s best current teams, but for those involved or watching at home this is undeniably the biggest match of any Premier League football season.

United will enter the game fresh off their 6-2 comeback against Roma on Thursday night at Old Trafford. Alongside this, they have more victories historically in the tie (89 to Liverpool’s 77). However, they have failed to beat Liverpool in the Prem since 2018.

Liverpool are rapidly chasing a top-four finish in the Prem this season, having had a steep decline in quality from their all-conquering performance last season.

With the fixture producing a dull 0-0 in the reverse back in January, this is a chance for both sides to right their wrongs, and win it for their cities.

AS Monaco vs Olympique Lyonnais – Sunday, 20:00PM, BT Sport 1:

At the top of the Ligue 1 table, every result matters right now. Whilst other divisions in world football have become an open-and-shut case, Ligue 1 is far from finished with three teams still competing for the title.

One of those teams is AS Monaco, who sit in third place on seventy-one points, one point behind second-placed PSG and two behind Lille in first.

The bad news for Niko Kovac’s side is instead of an easy fixture this weekend, they will instead face fourth-placed Lyon.

Expectations for this game are high, both teams rank amongst the top three scoring sides in the division, and have class throughout their squads. This should be a barnburner of a match and is not to be missed.
