Bayern Munich have agreed terms with RB Leipzig manager Jelian Nagelsmann ahead of a potential move to the reigning Bundesliga champions.
Bayern made contact with Leipzig over the weekend, with personal terms agreed with Nagelsmann.
All that is left for the clubs to do now is agree a fee to buy the manager out of his Leipzig contract.
It has been rumoured Leipzig are looking for a record fee of £25 million.
Who is Julian Nagelsmann?
At 33-years old, Nagelsmann is one of the top young manager’s in Europe.
Nagelsmann began his managerial career at 1899 Hoffenheim in 2016, aged just 28, before making the switch to Leipzig in 2019.
Recently, he has been linked to the vacant Tottenham job.
He has been dubbed ‘Baby Mourinho’, due to his age, and has so far had a successful career in management.

He took an unfancied RB Leipzig to last seasons Champions League Semi-finals, one of the underdog stories of the season.
Furthermore, he looks set to guide Leipzig to second in this seasons Bundesliga, behind only Bayern Munich.
The vacancy at Bayern has arisen due to Hansi Flick asking for his contract with the Bavarian club to terminated.
Flick has had several disagreements with Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic this season, which have contributed to his exit.
Additionally, long-time German national team coach Joachin Low will step down following this summer’s Euro’s, with Flick touted as his replacement.
