|The 21-year-old arrives at the Met Coaches Stadium from Southern Division One South side Bishop’s Cleeve, having only been with the Mitres since August 2022.
The left-footer started the 2022/23 season with Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Tuffley Rovers, having spent time with the Martyrs league rivals Weston-super-Mare in 2021/22.
He was part of West Bromwich Albion’s academy, but he left in 2017 to take his A-Levels and play for hometown club Gloucester City, who were then in the Vanarama National League South.
In 2019 the former England Schoolboy international was signed by League One Exeter City and during his time at St James`s Park, he appeared on loan for Tiverton Town, playing 26 times and scoring 4 goals, and for National League South side Chippenham Town, for who he played 7 times.
Merthyr boss Paul Michael told his club’s website: “Full back is the one area of the squad that we had little cover, but I wasn’t going to rush into something as we are only looking for players that will improve our squad and Noah certainly fits that category.
“He’s still young, has had a taste of full-time football like many others in our squad and so fits the profile of the type of player we are looking to recruit with ambitions of moving back up the pyramid. Noah is a naturally left-sided player who is very good defending one-v-one in wide areas, he gets forward to effectively and is technically very good which will suit the way we want to play and our home surface. I’m delighted to welcome Noah to the club and look forward to our supporters seeing what he can do in our team”.
