Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Hitchin Town have brought centre-back Ciaren Jones back to top Field on loan.
Jones is a 21-year-old, who was originally with Championship side Luton Town, having been on Premier League Brentford`s books as an under-12.
He signed for Norwich City’s under-23 development squad in June 2018 and signed a new one-year deal with City in February 2019.
In May 2019, he joined Vanarama National League South side Eastbourne Borough on a season-long loan.
But the loan was ended in August 2019 with Jones returning to Norwich, leaving Carrow Road by mutual consent in February 2020.
At the beginning of November 2020, he signed for Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit South Shields before returning south to sign for Hitchin just a week later.
He joined Brackley Town in the summer of 2022 and has made 3 appearances for the Saints so far this season – his last was in the 0-0 draw with Chorley where he, unfortunately, picked up an injury.
