For the Three Lions it just wasn’t meant to be.

After taking an early lead through Luke Shaw, Italy would equalise with a Leonardo Bonucci – forcing extra-time and penalties.

Following misses from Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka Italy would be crowned champions of Europe.
