Pitching In Southern League Division One South club AFC Totton have signed Seung-woo Yang on loan from Vanarama National League neighbours Eastleigh.
The young midfielder heads out to gain further experience in men’s football, after enjoying a successful 2021/22 campaign with the club’s elite development squad.
Yang earned his first professional contract with the Spitfires at the end of last season, having made two senior appearances in the National League as well as featuring in several matchday squads around the first team.
The 19-year-old from Sanbon-dong, Gunpo in South Korea, originally came through the famed Southampton academy.
He left for Forest Green Rovers in the summer of 2019 where he featured for the under-18s.
Eastleigh manager Lee Bradbury told https://www.eastleighfc.com: “Seuny is another one of our young players who needs to get out and get regular game time, and this loan is a good opportunity for him to do that at AFC Totton.
“He made a good impact last season and deserves the opportunity to go out and impress with further first team experience”.
