Woods, a striker from Bath who turned 19 on Saturday, has recently been at Southern Premier Division South side Poole Town on a similar basis.

He made his debut for the Dolphins in their Emirates FA Cup match against Salisbury, going on to make 3 appearances for them in September.

He’s a graduate of the famous Southampton academy and has been a member of the Saints under-18 squad.

AFC Totton manager Jimmy Ball told his club’s website: “Harvey is a young player who shows a lot of promise as a striker.

“I’m looking forward to helping him continue his development and I’d like to thank Southampton for their co-operation in getting this deal finalised.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Seung-Woo Yang has been recalled from his loan deal at the Snows Stadium by his parent club, Vanarama National Leaguers Eastleigh.

Yang came to the club in September and made his Stags debut in the re-arranged Isuzu FA Trophy First Round Qualifying victory over Slimbridge AFC.

He also started in the Hampshire Senior Cup match at AFC Portchester and the Southampton Senior Cup win at Ringwood Town, as well as coming off the bench against Berkhamsted.

“Seung is a cracking lad – an extremely technically gifted player who works very hard in training,” said AFC Totton boss Jimmy Ball.

“I’m sorry to see him go but I wish him all the best with his continued development at his parent club.”
