Horsham returned from Essex yesterday with a well-earned point from their match with Bowers & Pitsea, yet might have taken all three but for a late Tom Richards strike that came back off a post.
The visitors had an early scare when Luca Cocoracchio’s headed back pass looped over Mitch Beeney before dropping just past the post, and Beeney was quick to react after almost gifting Emmanuel Oluwasemo a goal himself. But, other than that, the ex-Bowers ‘keeper had a solid game against his former team-mates while his opposite number was scarcely tested despite the Hornets enjoying plenty of second half possession.
