Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club FC Romania failed to add their name into today’s draw for the Third Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
The Wolves were beaten 3-2 at Theobalds Lane by Isthmian League South East visitors Faversham Town in Sunday’s Second Qualifying Round tie.
Mitchell May gave the hosts a 19th-minute lead but two goals in 4 minutes just after the half-hour mark from Toby Bancroft and Brad Shafer took the Kent side into the break in front.
A second from Shafer from the penalty spot after 67 minutes made the task even more difficult for FC Romania, although a 76th-minute reply from substitute Ernest Murmyio made for a frantic finale.
But it’s the Lilywhites to into today’s draw.
