FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round – Cray Wanderers vs Lordswood – Friday 2nd September, 7.30 pm.
Cup tie weekend starts this Friday night as Cray Wanderers enter the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round stage with a home tie vs. Lordswood. 7.30pm ko and the tie will be played to a finish on the night. Admission £5 adults/£2.
Neil Smith will be guiding the team from the bench and there have been some very exciting FA Youth Cup ties at Hayes Lane in the past few seasons. The Wands reached the 2nd Round proper in 2018-19 and the 3rd Qualifying Round the following season so have enjoyed some good nights under the lights.
This is a chance to see some future Cray Wanderers stars and a warm welcome to all the players, management, parents and supporters of Lordswood making the trip from Chatham for the tie. Lordswood like Cray Wanderers U18s are members of the Kent Youth League and although the league season doesn’t start for another couple of weeks a chance for both to get some competitive football under their belts.
