A weekend of cup matches, top-of-the league clashes and much more awaits us this weekend. So, we’re going through all of the most important stories ahead of this weekend’s games.
The Must-Watch Football Games From This Weekend:
Chelsea vs Manchester City – Saturday, 17:30PM, BBC One:
In what could well be a potential preview of this season’s Champions League final Chelsea will meet Manchester City at Wembley.
City will enter the game as the all-conquering monster of the English Premier League. Unbeaten in eighteen cup matches this season, they face their biggest task yet in Chelsea.
Since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival in London, Chelsea have been an almost perfect side. In his eighteen games in charge, Chelsea have only conceded more than one goal in a match on one occasion. The German manager has solidified Chelsea as a defensive unit whilst, exuding a level of class in their football.
However, it must be noted that despite the leaps and bounds Chelsea have made on their one previous meeting this season, it was a dominant Man City performance. A confident three-one win but, it could have easily been more.
City have a prospective quadruple on the line but, Chelsea will be a huge task for Guardiola’s men.
Napoli vs Inter – Sunday, 19:45PM, Premier Sports 1 HD:
This weekend will mark one of the biggest clashes of the Serie A season. Inter Milan will travel across Italy to Naples for a tough clash with fifth placed Napoli.
Napoli have had a mixed season but, are starting to pick up form now as we reach the business end of the season.
With just seven wins and just one loss in their last nine games, Napoli are making a late push for Champions League football. Currently, just two points off the top-four, if Napoli manage to secure their place in next seasons Champions League it will mark the first time in two years.
For Inter, however top four is already achieved and instead, the blue side of Milan have far loftier ambitions. Nine points clear at the top of the Serie A and unbeaten in the league since the first week of January.
It is looking increasingly likely that Inter will be lifting the Serie A title at the end of the season. The closest of the chasing pack is city rivals AC Milan but, with just eight games left the title could be all but secured by the end of this weekend.

Football Worth Following – Faron Alex Paul:
Faron Alexander Paul is an anti-knife crime campaigner in the United Kingdom. Paul was stabbed eighteen times however, despite this he now works effortlessly to remove gun/knife crime in the U.K.
Despite the work of people like Mr Paul knife crime is at its all-time high in London. So, Mr Paul’s aim is to try to bring these numbers down as soon as possible. Above all, the goal is to move people away from violence and into healthy lifestyles. An example of this is by partnering with a group called pick a trade, not a blade who in the same vein, as Mr Paul look to make a real change.
Above all, the reason Paul’s work has been brought to the eyes of football fans is that John Terry recently shared his work. In addition, the former England international also made a donation to Paul’s Gofundme page which you can check out by clicking on the image below.
