The managerial merry go round has begun before the season has already commenced! Basildon United have announced that Alex Salmon has left his position at the helm of the Isthmian League North club. Salmon was appointed back in January of this year, becoming the club’s fifth manager of 2019/20.
The draw for the Emirates FA Cup draw for the FA Cup first round qualifying was made on Monday morning, with 117 ties pulled out of the hat. The prize fund at this stage is £2250 for winning clubs while the losing teams receive £750. A non-league side making waves in the game are Hashtag United; they will be in their first qualifying round of the FA Cup and will face Soham Town Rangers FC.
Bognor Regis Town have completed the loan signing of Havant and Waterlooville winger Sam Dowridge. The winger had spent time at Southampton and Stevenage before starting his non-league journey.

The 24-year-old had been drawing interest from Manchester United, however, with Villa signing Ollie Watkins, Matty Cash and close to signing Emiliano Martínez and Bertrand Traore, has convinced Grealish to commit to his boy-hood side.
Barcelona have announced the signing of Miralem Pjanic. The Bosnian will wear the No 8 shirt after he was unveiled at the Nou Camp on Tuesday with Arthur moving the other way. The tension seems to have settled at the Nou Camp following the summer of turmoil with the Messi saga.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has been subject from interest from Germany yet again. After signing a new £100,000 a week contract at Stamford Bridge, Hudson-Odoi was set to be the figurehead in The Blue attack, however, with Chelsea backing Frank Lampard in the transfer window, Hudson-Odoi has dropped further down the pecking order. Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are both interested in taking the England international to the Bundesliga.
